3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge, Africa, www.3peaks3weeks.org

Michael Brown’s made films on all seven continents, been awarded more than fifty film festival awards and has been to the top of Everest four times. Along this incredible journey he has experienced great rewards and deep sorrows. He was part of historic events like blind climber Erik Weihenmayer's ascent of Everest and felt the pain of the tragic loss of friends in the mountains. He tells stories that bring it all together and puts meaning behind the risks required to make adventure travel films.

"3 Peaks 3 Weeks is about dedication, motivation and inspiring individuals to climb higher and push harder for Africa's future than they ever thought possible."

Synopsis: 3 Peaks 3 Weeks Challenge, Africa
A team of 10 women from Australia and the USA come together to attempt to climb three of Africa’s highest peaks in less than three weeks. By challenging themselves to climb Mt. Kenya (5,199m), Mt. Meru (4,666m), and Mt. Kilimanjaro (5,893m) they hope to raise money and awareness for three key issues affecting East Africa today: environment, education, and HIV/AIDS.

Preview a trailer of the film here, which offers a bit of the evocative and provocative nature of the film.
