Air Travel
The nearest international airport to Whistler is
Vancouver International Airport (YVR). It is a two hour drive
from Vancouver, and the ride is along a beautiful highway
bordered by mountains and the Pacific Ocean.
Details about arranged transportation between Vancouver and
Whistler will be released to delegates before the Summit in
October.

The
Whistler Mountaineer
is a three-hour, premier train journey from North
Vancouver to the picturesque resort of Whistler,
site of the 2010 Winter Olympics. It delivers the
unique blend of contrasts the Sea to Sky region is
famous for: cities and old-growth forests,
bustling action and natural serenity, deep valleys
and snow-capped peaks, seascapes and mountain

Canadian hospitality.
US Citizens traveling by air will need passports to enter
Canada.
ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between
the United States and Canada will be required to present a
valid passport or U.S. Alien Registration Card, Form I-551.

Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, Republic of
Korea, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, San
Marino, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Spain, Swaziland,
Sweden, Slovenia, Switzerland, United States, and
Western Samoa.

Persons lawfully admitted to the United States for
permanent residence who are in possession of their alien
registration card (Green card) or can provide other
evidence of permanent residence.

British citizens and British Overseas Citizens who
are re-admissible to the United Kingdom.

Citizens of British dependent territories who derive
their citizenship through birth, descent, registration
or naturalization in one of the British dependent
territories of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin
Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar,
Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena or the Turks and Caicos
Islands.
